Beauty Link is a free for patients concierge. We help you find a cosmetic hospital in Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi that is licensed and registered with the Ministry of Health. We are not a clinic or a hospital.

What this site records today
Here is the short list, as the site works right now:
- Visit counts from Cloudflare. Our pages are served through Cloudflare, and Cloudflare adds a small script, Cloudflare Web Analytics, to each page. It counts page views and measures how fast pages load. Cloudflare says this tool does not use cookies or local storage, and does not fingerprint you through your IP address or browser details. It says the tool does not collect or use your personal data.
- Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics to see which pages people read, how visits flow, and which buttons and links they press. It sets cookies. You can turn it off with the Cookie settings button at the foot of our pages. More on that below.
- PostHog. We also use PostHog, on its EU cloud, to see how people move through our pages and the quiz, including short screen replays with what you type hidden. It is switched off by the same Cookie settings button.
- No other analytics. We run no other tool that tracks your visit or counts your clicks.
- No forms that send to us. There is no contact form and no sign up box that sends your details to a server of ours.
- Fonts from Google. Our pages load their fonts from Google Fonts. More on that below.
Like any website, the computers that host our pages receive your IP address so they can send the pages to you. That is how the internet works for every site you visit.

Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 runs on every page of beautylinkvn.com. It records each page you open and each visit, which Google calls a session. Our own setup also records which buttons and links you press, and which quiz steps you reach. In the quiz, that includes the options you tap, such as a city or a type of treatment.
We never send your name, your WhatsApp number, your email or the notes you type to Google Analytics. Web addresses are sent without their extra codes, except the campaign tags that say which advert or post brought you here. We have turned off Google's ad features.
Google says its analytics tags use first party cookies to tell visitors apart and to tell visits apart. It names two cookies, _ga and one that starts with _ga_, and says each lasts 2 years by default. Google also says Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
To turn it off, press Cookie settings at the foot of our pages and confirm. Your browser then keeps a small note, in local storage, and Google Analytics stops on every page of this site in that browser. Press it again to turn it back on.

PostHog
PostHog also runs on every page of beautylinkvn.com, sending to PostHog's EU cloud. It records the pages you open and leave, and the clicks and taps you make. It can also record a replay of a visit, a recording of how the page moved, for us to watch.
In those replays, every box you type into is hidden. In the quiz, your name, your WhatsApp number, your notes and the result screen are hidden as well. PostHog says this hiding runs in your browser, so the hidden text is never sent to PostHog. We never tell PostHog who you are.
PostHog says it keeps its own note of your visit in local storage and a smaller part in a first party cookie. The same Cookie settings button turns PostHog off along with Google Analytics.

How the quiz works
The quiz asks about the treatment you are thinking about, the city, when you hope to travel and where you are travelling from. It also asks if you have already had a consultation or quote anywhere, and if there is anything else you want us to know. You can skip both of those. The quiz asks you not to share medical history in that last box. At the end it asks for your first name and your WhatsApp number, and for a tick to say we can contact you on WhatsApp about your enquiry.
When you finish, the quiz prepares the message in your browser, then hands it to WhatsApp:
- It writes your answers into a WhatsApp message, with a short reference code that starts with BL.
- It opens WhatsApp with that message ready to go. The wa.me link that does this holds your answers, so WhatsApp can receive the link as it opens.
- It waits for you. The message only reaches us if you press send in WhatsApp.
While you fill it in, the quiz saves your answers in your browser tab, so a refresh does not lose your place. This uses a browser feature called session storage, and it stays on your device. Once WhatsApp opens, the quiz still holds your first name, your reference code and the full WhatsApp link, which carries your quiz answers. That lets the last screen show again if you refresh. The browser keeps it only while that tab or the browser is open. Starting the quiz again clears it, and so does closing the tab. To guess where you are travelling from, the quiz reads your device's time zone. That guess stays on your device too, and you can change it.

Google Fonts
Our pages use fonts from Google Fonts. To show them, your browser asks Google's font servers for the font files. Google says these requests include your IP address, the address of the font file, and details of your browser and the page you are on. Google says its font service does not set or log cookies, and that it does not use this information to build profiles or for targeted advertising.

When you message us on WhatsApp
Once you press send, your message reaches the Beauty Link WhatsApp account. Its number is at the foot of our pages. WhatsApp has its own privacy policy, and it says that policy applies to all of its services unless it says otherwise. WhatsApp says it offers end to end encryption, which it describes as protecting your messages from being read by WhatsApp and third parties. It also says that when you message a business, what you share may be seen by several people in that business.
At Beauty Link, your messages are read by our team: Andrew Lam, our co-founder, who looks after the Beauty Link WhatsApp, and our Patient Link Advisors. They read them to help with your enquiry.

What we keep, and why
We keep your WhatsApp chat so we can help with your enquiry. That chat holds your quiz answers and anything else you choose to tell us. It can include health details, such as the treatment you are asking about.
If you want to go ahead, we introduce you to a hospital's team in a WhatsApp group with you, that team and your Beauty Link advisor. Once you are in that group, the hospital's team can see what you share there, and so can we.
We use your details to help with your enquiry. The quiz never asks you to sign up for marketing, and it does not add you to a mailing list.
We have no fixed time limit for keeping chats yet. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
How to ask us to delete your details
To ask us to delete our copy of your chat and your quiz answers, email info@beautylinkvn.com. Tell us the WhatsApp number you used. Your reference code helps too, if you have it.
A few things sit outside our reach, so you know where to go:
- WhatsApp itself. WhatsApp says you can delete your WhatsApp account at any time, using the delete my account feature in the app.
- A hospital you were introduced to. Ask the hospital directly about the records it holds. We can help you find the right person to ask.

Questions
No, not by itself. The quiz writes your answers into the wa.me link that opens WhatsApp, so WhatsApp can receive that link. We only see your answers if you press send.
Yes. Google Analytics and PostHog each set their own cookies to count visits. Our pages set no other cookies. You can turn both off with the Cookie settings button at the foot of our pages.
Yes, three tools. Google Analytics 4 and PostHog record page views, visits, and the buttons and links you press, and PostHog can record screen replays with what you type hidden. You can turn both off with Cookie settings. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and page load times, and Cloudflare says it uses no cookies or local storage for this. We never send your name, number or notes to any of them. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to send the fonts to your browser.
Our Beauty Link team reads them so we can help you. If you choose to go ahead, the hospital's team can see what you share in your group chat with them. WhatsApp has its own privacy policy too.
We keep your WhatsApp chat, and it can hold health details you choose to share, such as the treatment you are asking about. Beauty Link is a concierge, not a clinic or a hospital. For anything a hospital holds, ask that hospital.
Email info@beautylinkvn.com with the WhatsApp number you used, and ask us to delete our copy of your chat and quiz answers.
